Britain's Supermodel Elle Macpherson admits using powdered rhinoceros horn

Britain's Next Top Model host Elle Macpherson has admitted to using an illegal powdered substance priced at around $60,000 a kilo.That product was powdered rhinoceros horn.The supermodel told Britain's Sunday Times that she ingests powdered rhinoceros horn for medicinal purposes.

The remedy is banned worldwide by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species in a bid to stop rhinoceroses being slaughtered by poachers.Though after remembering what she had said she backed away from her comments saying - "never knowingly consumed or encouraged the use or consumption of any products which contain material derived from endangered species"
