Lady Gaga's raw meat dress

The singer, known for her bizarre dressing sense, wore a garment made from raw animal products to collect the award for Video of The year in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 12).LA-based designer Franc Fernandez was asked to create the dress by Lady Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti.

He sourced around 50 pounds of meat from a local butcher and built the dress around the frame of a corset. The meat on the singer's shoes were held together with butchers' strings.

Though PETA was no happy with this act "Wearing a dress made out of cuts of dead cows is offensive enough to bring comment, but someone should whisper in her ear that there are more people who are upset by butchery than who are impressed by it"
