The effects of Hurricane Earl largely disappeared, will swimming be allowed today in Manasquan, Sandy Hook, Sea Bright Seaside Heights, among other places. In Belmar, there will be "limited" access to the sea, according to Belmar Beach Patrol. On Saturday swimmers were not permitted into the sea in Belmar. Surfing is permitted. Other beaches of New Jersey also had limitations due to rip currents.
